Module Two: Animal Defense Mechanisms
Module 2 Overview:
In this unit, students explore animal defense mechanisms. In unit 1, students will read new informational texts and answer comprehension questions. In Unit 2, students continue to learn about animal defense mechanisms. This time they will focus on a particular animal which they will research during expert groups.

Students can use a variety of informational texts on animal adaptations and defenses for their reading research homework.
